The history of PRO-MAR S.A. dates back to the mid-1990s. At that time, Mr. Mariusz Jędrzej Święs, the current President of the company and its main shareholder, having many years of experience in trade in metallurgical products, decided to transform a prosperous commercial activity into a production undertaking. The rapid development of PPHU PRO-MAR S.C. and its constantly strengthening position on the market allowed in 2001 to transform the family business into a joint stock company. Since then, the activity of PRO-MAR S.A. has been characterized by a range of dynamic and uninterrupted growth and success. The company effectively implements development plans as well as further product and technological investments. As part of these plans, the construction of a finishing hall is currently underway, which will allow our company to significantly improve the quality and degree of processing of finished products. Apart from the production plant in Poznań, the Company also has a distribution and warehouse centre in Tarnowskie Góry, with the present scope of the business covering, among others:
- PRODUCTION OF PEELED STEEL IN BARS AND COILS (own peeling shop),
- PRODUCTION OF DRAWN STEEL IN BARS AND COILS (own peeling shop),
- PRODUCTION OF OPEN-DIE FORGINGS (own forging mill),
- PURCHASE, STORAGE AND TRADING OF MILLING AND FORGING MATERIALS (from domestic as well as EU production)
- SERVICES, including peeling, drawing, open-die forging of steel and gas-plasma cutting up to a height of h=300 mm
In these areas we are one of the leaders on the Polish market, offering products of the highest quality parameters, high workmanship accuracy and 100% product recognition (even after 20 years)!
Since 2006 PRO-MAR S.A. has been a member of the prestigious Co-operation Network of the Research and Development Sector and Enterprises in the Field of Plastic Forming – an institution operating at the Plastic Forming Plant, Institute of Materials Technology of the Poznań University of Technology, which was established to support and co-finance innovative activities implemented by industry leaders from EU and state funds. For many years PRO-MAR S.A. has also been awarded prestigious awards and distinctions in the field of management, development and achieved business results (Business Gazelle, Gold Certificate of Reliability, Gold Payer, Greater Poland Quality, Business Cheetah, Poznań Entrepreneurship Leader), and since 2004 also a very well rated partner of EulerHermes – having a high rating of financial condition and impeccable payment morality.
Since the beginning of its existence, PRO-MAR S.A. has been pursuing an effective quality policy, setting high quality products and services, continuous training of employees and customer satisfaction as priority objectives. This results in numerous certificates and industry approvals attesting to the high level of professionalism and quality of products and services offered by PRO-MAR S.A. (ISO 9001:2008 for the production of peeled and drawn bars and forgings, as well as TUV and UDT certificates). In addition, our company boasts a well-trained and selected staff, which guarantees high quality of services and professional customer support even for the most demanding of our recipients.
