OPEN-DIE FORGING MILL

 

PRO-MAR S.A. open-die forging mill offers custom-made forgings. Our process engineers work with customers to create effective solutions at every stage of the process – from design to finalisation. PRO-MAR S.A. closely cooperates with companies from the CNC, energy, mining and gas sector.

We offer forgings in open-die state with raw or roughed (coarse-machined) surface. We also accept materials for providing forging service with the use of customer-supplied batch material. At the customer’s request, we carry out the following tests:

• chemical composition,
• hardness,
• steel structure,
• defectoscopic tests in grade C2 and C3 according to PN-EN 10228-3:2000,
• strength tests (tensile strength, impact resistance)
• other.

 

FORGINGS MADE OF UNTYPICAL MATERIALS WHICH REQUIRE SPECIFIC CHARGE ARE MADE IN TIMES AND ON TERMS AGREED INDIVIDUALLY WITH THE CUSTOMER.

Forgings are made in accordance with PN-EN 10250 and PN-EN 10222 standards.

Our products can be machined to the customer’s specifications with an accuracy of Ø/+1 mm. A big advantage of roughened forgings is the precision of workmanship at a relatively low unit price.

Our open-die forgings can be subjected to heat treatment, including: softening annealing [+A], normalizing annealing [+N] and quenching [+QT].

We have implemented and apply the ISO 9001 quality management system. We are certified by the Office of Technical Inspection (UDT) in the scope of manufacturing materials intended for pressure equipment in accordance with Directive 2014/68/EU
